VERSION 6.50 - 2005/03/11
IT IS DONE !
The BIGGEST update I've ever done in this project
is finally READY for your enjoyment !!!
Before you run to download it, please take a
moment (or two) to read this entire post.
AFTER a year of work, I feel this version is THE
FIRST version of the sheet that I consider "complete" because
it contains ALL the major aspects of the System Reference Document !! Of
course there are still many items to add, (Magic Weapons/Armor, Domains,
Monsters, Templates etc...) but all those are (in my view) secondary to the
basic mechanics of the Game - I will continue my work of improving the Sheet.
As always with new updates, advise me of any bugs/issues you find/locate.
Many people are to THANK for their help - I will
not name them as I would not forgive myself if I missed one - But you know who
you are - Because of those 10+ people, this update was subjected to a
much higher level of scrutiny that it ever was subjected to before. You'll see
this when you check out the list of "Fixed" items below.
IMPORTANT CHANGES:
=================
I'll take a moment to review some interesting
changes which you might otherwise MISS. First of All, I decided to HIDE more
Sheets then usual - Most people do not need ALL worksheets for their character
anyways - to UNHIDE a worksheet, use FORMAT->Sheet->Unhide. I did this
not to "scare" away new users of the Sheet who might, otherwise, be
lost in the amount of available worksheets.
Aside from the new PowerPlanner & Psicrystal
worksheet (for Psionic Characters), v6.50 has MANY new Options (Found in the
Customize worksheet - click the OPTIONS link) - Option #11 allows you to use
the Fixed Hit Point system automatically (you get SUM of the average dice,
rounded down + the full hit Dice for the first level). You can either
activate this Option in the Customize Worksheet, OR in the XP worksheet
(checkmark in the upper right). Option #5 & #6 allows you to hide
the equipment from the Stat worksheet - YES the Stat worksheet will now
display all of your Gear & mount's gears !!
Dungeon Masters will love option #7,#8 and #9,
which allows the Stat sheet to display as many checkmarks (up to 5) for each
spell, exactly as selected in the corresponding Spell Planner (the first
column) - This allows the Stat sheet of created NPCs to directly display the
number of spells available to him - and checkmarks for when they get used up!
Another improvement, is the SpellPlanners: Spells
available in the List Box of the SpellPlanners will now be relative to the
selected CLASS !! This will save you time when filling out your Spells
(Eventually, I might create "pre-generated" Spell Planners for all
casting classes, but that's in the TO-DO list for now) - This is also true for
the Power Planner.
Now for the Attack sections: I've revisited them
yet again to add a few things: First of all, I added a "Special
Damage" for weapons. This special damage is appended to a weapon damage.
So a fire dealing sword which does 1d8+2, can now be shown to say
"1d8+2+1d6 (fire)" - Or whatever you want to add as Special Damage
!! You can add Special Damage to custom weapons AND the normal weapons (last
column, not protected) - note that Weapons & Armor are now located in the
GEAR worksheet - Unhide it for access.
Furthermore, you all know that the sheet always
presented the "FULL" attack in the Attack sections - So you'll
notice the ATTACK sections are renamed "FULL ATTACK" - BUT you can
Click on that and change it to "SINGLE ATTACK" - if you do so, the
Sheet will calculate your total as if you'd attack only ONCE - which means
that you will NOT have the penalties that are associated with multiple attacks
!!! (i.e. Rapid Shot, Two-Weapon Fighting, Double weapon etc..) It also means
that if you have a Special Attack (Slam ?) you can use the "Single
Attack" mode and voila.
I'll leave the other goodies for you to read
(below) - Oh one last note (pun intended): Remember the "Note"
section below the Gear on the FRONT worksheet, well that's GONE. Instead,
there is a larger "Check" section which is a VERY important from
now on - it will display errors and Warnings about your Character so you
will not have to tell me the Monk's AC bonus from wisdom is "broken"
- that section will tell you WHY it's "broken" :)) - and a few other
issues you might have missed...

You might have noticed that the sheet change it's Homepage
- I switched to a commercial Web Host (Yahoo) because the previous one was
getting unreliable (even though it was Free, I felt bad each time it went

Why this name? Simply because I believe that the D&D3.5 Multiclass
Character Sheet *IS* THE ONLY SHEET that is worth your TIME.
New Section: Tips:

A new section WILL BE added on the homepage -
TIPS. These are quick things you might not have though about, which could help
you get the most out of the Sheet! If you have some tips you'd like me to add,
just send them to me (directly, not on the Mailing List please)
New Section: Testimonies

I'll be adding a Testimony section to the Website -
If you wish to send me a testimony of your [positive] experiences with the
Sheet, I'll put it in this brand new section. Don't be Shy ! Also send this
directly to me, not the Mailing List.
