RELEASE NOTES
VERSION 7.20 - 2005/11/18
Have you ever wanted to create a Goblin with levels in Barbarian? How about a Kobold with the abilities of a high level Rogue? Version 7.20 of the D&D3.5 MultiClass Character Sheet has now been improved to support Monstrous Races! A Red Dragon with 12 levels of barbarian or an Ogre multi-classing as a fighter/cleric! Easy with this new updated version!
Version 7.20 of the Sheet add 29 new Races (Aasimar, Azer, Blue, Bugbear, Centaur, Doppelganger, Gargoyle, Gnoll, Goblin, Grimlock, Hill Giant, Hobgoblin, Hound Archon, Jann, Kobold, Lizardfolk, Merfolk, Minotaur, Ogre, Ogre Mage, Orc, Pixie, Rakshasa, Satyr, Stone Giant, Tiefling, Troglodyte, Troll, Unbodied) and 10 sub-Races (Aquatic Elf, Deep Dwarf, Deep Halfling, Drow, Forest Gnome, Gray Elf, Svirfneblin, Tallfellow, Wild Elf, Wood Elf).
Furthermore, the Race worksheet has been reworked to facilitate the customization of Monstrous Races - Just check out that Red Dragon I created as a Showcase of the Sheet's ability to handle even the more complex races!!
CHANGES form the previous release:
Forum Update:
The community forum keeps growing, currently with over 270 users! We have
also seen an increased in the number of people sending their Classes/Races to
the Forum. Here is [as I write this] a breakdown of the received files, per
sections:
"Classes of the Land" section:
Currently holds 97 classes,
"Monsters of the Land" section: Currently holds 10 monsters,
"Races of the Land" section: Currently holds 16 races.
If you do create new Races/Classes/Monsters [that are not part of the Forum], you can share them with your community.
Activation:
Use your Personal Key to activate this latest version of the Sheet - As a
reminder, please do not Share or give away your Key to anyone. I have been
working hard to make this Sheet what it is, and I would appreciate if you would
keep my hard work out of the hands of those who would undermine it.
Known Issues - MACINTOSH:
The Mac version of the Sheet still has issues. I do not have access to any MAC
Excel around me. This is making testing on Excel extremely difficult as you can
imagine.
What's Next?
Monstrous Races was added because the users voted to get Templates - and
templates could NOT be added without increasing the Sheet's flexibility. So the
next steps will be Templates - but before I start on that, I will examine a proposal I receive form one
of the Registered users [patransom in the Forum] about a system to allow the
integration of Custom Feats - this is HIGH priority, as such a system could be
useful in many areas of the Sheet.
Please report any problems you find. If you come upon an obvious bug, double check!! (using all the resources available). An 'obvious' bug is, 99% of the time, cause by a lack of knowledge on how to use the Sheet. You can post on the Forum. If you are NOT using the Forum for lack of time, just email me the issue and I'll take it from there.
SUPPORT the Author!
Please support my hard Work - there are many ways you can help:
Talk to your friends and see if they would register the Sheet for themselves
Check the Project section of the Form and lend a hand if you can! (there are many things I need help with...)
Consider re-registering the Sheet in the same manner as if the Sheet was "subscription based" (some users have already started to do this - many thanks to those!)
and do NOT share your Personal Key to your friends... they should register their OWN names
